BIANCHI 1885 “09 ROAD BIKE
1885 - The year the Mechanical Workshop Edoardo Bianchi was founded.
Redesigned after the experience acquired with the Hydroforming technology, the frame has been slimmed down while keeping its performance characteristics unchanged. Constructed from aeronautic grade 7000 series aluminium, with resistance features comparable to those of steel yet with 1/3 density, it enables the Reparto Corse designers to work out tube sections and gauges, obtaining an appealing design with high levels of performance and limited weight.
Grade A used and in Great conditions.
Just some minor paint chip and scratches as shown in pictures, it has recieved a full head to toe machine polish to bring out the beautiful original paintwork and remove scratches. We have completed a comprehensive check on the frame to ensure it’s reliability and safety are still intact.

Roger is always happy to help you!
We at Roger Garage want our customers to leave feeling secure and happy in their purchase. To ensure this happens we complete a comprehensive check up on all our frames and components to ensure their reliability and safety are still intact.
We also go through the process of fully stripping and rebuilding each and every bike/frame to check internal parts/bearings, overall wear and cables. While in this process we give the frame and all components a thorough clean, grease and oil (where needed) to ensure common bolts and screws are protected from weathering and seizing while also ensuring your rolling with silky smooth bearings.
Our bikes come equipped with Slime Sealant or Continental Revo Sealant (tubless/tubular) puncture protection. The Goo is injected into the innertubes creating a layer of liquid which will prevent you from getting stuck on the road side with a flat! It does this by auto sealing the puncture just from the motion of the wheel spinning and the air escaping causes the Goo to solidify and seal the puncture.
If we are fortunate enough to welcome you in person at our workshop in London on collection of your new bike, we will be more than happy to assist you in setting up your bike so it fits you like a glove, this is called a “BIKE FIT“ and it is an often overlooked but essential part of riding a bike, you need to be comfortable and safe ensuring that your not risking your joints, there are many more nuanced adjustments than just lowering/raising the saddle - our lead mechanic Roger can assist, he has the knowledge and more importantly the experience to ensure you are safe and comfortable on your new ride.
If you have selected to receive your bike via post, we will box it up with protective packaging to ensure we are doing the best we can to avoid any possible damage by the couriers.
In this case, while the packaging is being prepared we will disassemble things like handle bars and maybe the wheels and pedals. But do not worry, if you are a complete novice and need help, we would be more than happy to make a custom video specifically on your bike showing you how to reassemble any parts we have disassembled for delivery, it will not be complex, only a matter of tightening a couple bolts, we will make it as simple as possible, plus we are only a text or a phone call away when you receive your bike in case of anything.
